Due to the fact that a frangible bullet is much lighter without lead, this cartridge achieves a muzzle velocity of 1,450 fps out of a 4″ barrel. It has an extremely high ballistic coefficient for a 357 Sig – 0.121, which results in a fairly flat trajectory. Speer makes it simple to identify this specialized range training round with its clearly marked bullet and clean burning propellant.
